Catherine Murton joins MacLachlan
Wednesday, 24 February 2010
MacLachlan Solicitors are continuing to provide quality legal services to clients and have recently appointed Catherine Murton, a Solicitor specialising in wills, probate and powers of attorney.

Catherine advises clients on all aspects of estate planning when preparing wills, including advice in relation to Inheritance Tax saving. She also deals with the creation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, which can give peace of mind to those who are concerned with decisions which may have to be made by others in the event of a loss of mental capacity. Catherine will be based in both the Gillingham and the Sherborne offices.
Recent changes to the law relating to Powers of Attorney mean that we should all give thought to what may happen to our personal and legal affairs in the event that we are no longer able to manage these matters ourselves, through a loss of mental capacity or an accident or illness.
Tom Gawler, Partner at the Sherborne office says "We are delighted to welcome Catherine to the firm. We are committed to offering high quality practical legal advice to all our private and business clients and Catherines appointment further strengthens the broad range of services we can deliver"
