The Employment Tribunal award for Unfair Dismissal Claims can be as high as £63,000 meaning mistakes can be costly. Employers should be aware that a failure to follow approved redundancy procedures can render a fair redundancy dismissal to be unfair in the eyes of an Employment Tribunal.
