FreeWill Service - Over £150,000 pledged for Charity with MacLachlan

MacLachlan support the FreeWill Service offered by Cancer Research UK.

Those aged 55 or over (or in the case of a couple making a will, where one is over 55) can take advantage of a payment direct to the firm from Cancer Research UK as a contribution towards the cost of making a will. The limits for payments of the legal fees are set at £100 plus VAT for a single will and £150 plus VAT for 'mirror' wills for a couple.

Since the scheme was adopted at MacLachlan it has proved a great success and clients using this service with us have so far collectively pledged approximately £150,000 to Cancer Research UK in future legacies.
